bedside cot used -Cosi lora
The Iora is a bassinet designed for infants designed to make parents feel connected with their baby as they sleep. It adjusts up and down and slides through three positions to fit next to the bed of the parent, or in the corner of the room to ensure that your baby is within arm's reach. The mesh siding is breathable, allowing air to flow through, and gives you a quick glance at your child. And you can stow more pajamas and other supplies in the large storage basket underneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that can fold flat. It also comes with a travel case to allow it to be carried anywhere. Our mom testers found it easy to move from room to room and felt it was a great size for a bedside cot, and not too big or too small. They also loved the large storage basket which is ideal for stowing nappies or other bedding items.
This is a great choice for parents who want to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but do not want to share their beds or whose partners may have mobility issues, like back problems or arthritis. Our mom testers love the ease with which they can access their child in the Iora and that it comes with an option to tilt the bed upwards to help with gas.
Our moms love that it follows NICE guidelines. They recommend placing an infant in a Moses basket or crib on its own, without blankets, toys, pillows etc. They also state that the mattress is comfortable and firm for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It isn't as light as other smaller bedside cribs, though and if you're looking for something lighter and easier to move around, consider one of the other options on our list.
